Dan's trainers worked a treat - he romped in at one hour 22 in the Great North run - coming 177th! He loves the trainers! Great service, great knowledge and I managed 45.47 for 10km last night (a pb outside races) with no ill effects. I will recommend Run to Live to anyone who asks me. I got some fab trainers and with your encouragement, started out on the pavement on a ‘run for 8 mins walk for 2 mins’ basis. It worked and my knees survived. I managed the Race for Life in Epsom yesterday and, although my run for 8, walk for 2 went totally out of the window in the long grass and sand (!!!!!) and the hills in the wrong places, I finished in just under 45 minutes. It was certainly a hard one to pick as my first but you never know where I may go next. There’s no way I could have done it without the trainers and the good advice I got and, if I wasn’t moving away I’d definitely be joining one of your running groups.
